Shopping Berlin
As a shopaholic, you’ll definitely get your kicks in Berlin! Whether you like big department stores or smaller streets with galleries and boutiques, every quarter offers its own spots. The Kurfurstendamm in the centre is known as a shopper’s heaven, but also in Friedrichstrasse (Mitte), Oranienstrasse (Kreuzberg) and Kantstrasse (Charlottenburg) you’ll have no problem to empty your wallet. Enjoy!
KaDeWe Berlin
The acronym KaDeWe stands for Kaufhaus des Westen (Buying house of the West), which is a pretty good description of what it is. Whilst the "Ossies" at the socialist side of the town faced occasional shortages or unavailability of certain luxury products, this huge mall in the Western part was a hedonist heaven. A lot has changed since then, but KaDeWe is still there. The huge mall offers a lot of high segment fashion, electronics, household products and much more.

Kurfurstendamm Berlin
The Kurfurstendamm is one of the main avenues of the city and forms the shopping heart of Berlin. Although its stores are not the cheapest and most creative, you’ll surely find what you need here. It’s a popular area for the shopping trips for girls with mums, couples or just some friends together who feel an urge to buy fashion.
Arkonaplatz Berlin
For the lovers of flea market, this a great place. All the stalls here offer a large choice of clothing and accessories. You’ll also find anything you might need for your house. The market takes place on Sundays. When you get enough of shopping, there are plenty places to take a break and sit down for coffee or lunch.
